The two newest animations are really cool. The first is for a company specializing in fireplace units; and what with the chilly season fast approaching, they decided to Advertise! Reels in Motion to the rescue! I designed their latest commercial. Below is the screen capture of part of the video. I’ll post the full video soon.
Second is the Mexican restaurant, Amigo’s. This one is REALLY cool. It’s a VFX mix, live action and CG elements combined. The character, “Paco,” named after their bartender, steps into the restaurant and then has a conversation with the actual bartender. Very cool. Again, that video is coming VERY soon!
Well, what with all the commercial work I’ve been working on for various clients from New York to Philly, I finally had a moment to update the Reels in Motion site.
You’ll notice it pretty much right away if you’ve got the latest Flash installed. I rendered out an animation of the Reels in Motion logo as a steel plate falling from above onto the top of each web page.
I’m working on a very creative media production right now. It’s for a restaurant and will have an animated character interacting with a real person. Very exciting. I’m hoping by next week this time I should have it up. We just did the shooting earlier today and it went very well.
I’m also holding off on posting a personal animation I did. It’s being entered into a competition in a few weeks and I want to wait until afterwards to post it. In the meantime, here’s a capture from the short to whet your appetite:
Here’s another animation we just finished for Comcast. This was for Aamco Transmissions. Part of the script was from Aamco and part from us. The animation was all done in Lightwave here at the Studio.
By the way, the link will open a new window and you’ll need the latest Quicktime to watch it. Later!
Here’s an interesting video I did. It’s just a quick animation. As many of you know, I’ve been getting into character animation and this is one of my “characters.” He’s actually based on well, me. Okay, I know it’s not that flattering, but hey. It’s CARTOON!
Anyway, it’s very simple, just testing the “rig” which is like the computer animation version of muscles and bones.
This was created using Lightwave. More are coming very soon! (And as the title suggests, I posted this over at youtube.com)
